Outline
In July 2015, the enclaves around the Indo-Bangladesh border were exchanged, and many of the residents chose to stay or move across the border to keep their formal citizenship. This study explores their experience and history and investigates the role of international borders and statelessness. It also looks into how people coped with the situation and their hopes for the future.
