Read & Publish Agreements

Read and Publish agreements are contracts between libraries and publishers that allow researchers to read articles in subscription journals and publish articles in open access journals without having to pay additional fees.

The IISc has signed Read and Publish agreements with four publishers:

Cambridge University Press

Company pf Biologists, The

Microbiology Society

Rockefeller University Press

These agreements provide IISc researchers with a number of benefits, including:

Access to a larger number of open access journals

Reduced costs for publishing in open access journals

Increased visibility for their research
