gcloud bigtable instances update - modify an existing Bigtable instance

gcloud bigtable instances update INSTANCE [--display-name =DISPLAY_NAME] [--edition =EDITION] [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG …]

gcloudbigtableinstancesupdatemy-instance-id--display-name="Updated Instance Name"

To update the edition for an instance to ENTERPRISE_PLUS, run:

gcloudbigtableinstancesupdatemy-instance-id--edition=ENTERPRISE_PLUS

Instance resource - The instance to update. This represents a Cloud resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

• provide the argument instance on the command line with a fully specified name;
• provide the argument --project on the command line;
• set the property core/project.

This must be specified.

INSTANCE

ID of the instance or fully qualified identifier for the instance.

To set the instance attribute:

• provide the argument instance on the command line.

--display-name=DISPLAY_NAME

Friendly name of the instance.

--edition=EDITION

The edition of the instance. EDITION must be one of: ENTERPRISE, ENTERPRISE_PLUS.
