Shiu is the focal for finance sector operations in the Pacific and is keen to support finance sector development and access to domestic and international financial services. Shiu joined ADB in 2014 and has led country programming, economic analysis, finance sector technical assistance, programs, and project preparation, and implementation. Before his current role, he served as ADB country officer for Fiji, Samoa, and Vanuatu, and country economist for Fiji, Samoa, and the Cook Islands. He has been with ADB for over ten years.
