Pamela Bracey is currently a Principal Investment Specialist in the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Private Sector Financial Institutions Division where she provides financing, equity, and guarantees to financial institutions throughout Asia in support of financial sector and capital markets development. Ms. Bracey was previously the Unit Head of Private Sector Operations in Indonesia for ADB, responsible for developing private sector business opportunities for ADB in the infrastructure and financial sectors. Earlier in her tenure at ADB, Ms. Bracey acted as the Team Leader for Trade Finance Facilitation Program, which provides support to local banks through the provision of partial credit guarantees and revolving credits for trade finance. Before joining ADB, Ms. Bracey was a Senior Investment Insurance Officer at the Overseas Private Investment Corporation in Washington, DC, where she structured insurance contracts and underwrote financial, economic, and political aspects of infrastructure and natural resource projects in Asia and the Middle East. Ms. Bracey also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a Senior Financial Analyst, where she monitored the financial performance and condition of regional and multinational banking institutions throughout the Second Federal Reserve District.
Ms. Bracey is a graduate of Williams College, where she received a BA in International Political Economy. Ms. Bracey also has a MA in Economics from Clemson University and a MALD in International Trade & Finance and International Political Economy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
