Four Paths to a Climate-Friendly Energy Transition for Asia and the Pacific
A smooth energy transition promotes sustainable development and climate resilience but it requires efforts on multiple fronts.
In his current role, he is part of the IED leadership team and oversees the evaluation of sector and project evaluations and validations, particularly in energy, transport, water, urban, finance, agriculture and natural resources, and all private sector operations. He has more than 23 years of professional experience, about 13 years of which were spent in ADB in the areas of independent evaluation and capital markets investment. Mr. Subramaniam holds Master's degrees in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, USA and Civil Engineering from the University of Texas, USA. He completed his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Prior to joining ADB, he worked for commercial Banks in the USA where he executed several high-profile capital market transactions managed by a wide array of leading asset managers.
