Na Won Kim, with the Urban Development and Water Division of ADB’s South Asia Department, has managed and worked on a range of technical assistance and loan projects. These relate to sustainable and inclusive development, low carbon city development promoting cross-sectoral intervention and system innovation for sustainable and climate friendly urban development, water supply and sanitation, clean and renewable energy, energy labelling system, sustainable transport, sustainable buildings, ecosystem-based adaptation, and many other areas. She has more than 19 years of experience in the field of sustainable development, sustainable production and consumption, system innovation, climate change, environmental policy and governance. Prior to joining ADB, she worked at various organizations including Alberta Environment, United Nations Environment Programme, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, and UNDP/Zero Emission Research Initiatives. She holds masters of science in environmental policy and management from International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University in Sweden.
