Hebei Medical University is one of the oldest public universities in modern China, with its predecessor Zhili Viceroy’s Hospital Medical School established in 1880. The Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine is the national key discipline. There are 2 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
