Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (SIGS) is a public graduate education institution jointly established by Tsinghua University and the Shenzhen Municipal Government against the backdrop of national efforts to deepen higher education reform and promote the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. SIGS was founded as an expansion and integration of the Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua University (established in 2001), and the Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI, established in 2014).
