What is the JFTCOur mission

The Japan Fair Trade Commission ("JFTC") is an organization established to enforce the Antimonopoly Act ("AMA"). JFTC is also enforcing the Subcontract Act, which is a complementary law of the AMA.

Our mission is to pursue competition policy, that maximizes benefits of market economy such as vibrant innovation, through 1) law enforcement well-responding to dynamics of socioeconomic environment, and 2) competition advocacy contributing to galvanizing competition.
