Industrial organisation in China: Theory building and analysis of new dimensions(2016_2_20_001)

Outline

The objective of this research is to develop an improved understanding of the patterns of industrial organisation that lay behind the remarkable growth of Chinese manufacturing industries. Specifically, by synthesising original data and existing empirical studies with relevant theoretical literature, we aim to develop a coherent theory of Chinese industrial organisation and analyse whether and how it is being transformed in response to the changing economic landscape within China and overseas.
