  [Notice of Opening Days Change]
  In January 2026, the library will open on the second and fourth Saturdays (10th January and 24th January) and will be closed on the first and third Saturdays (3rd January and 17th January). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

  [Book Inventory Notice]
  An inventory check is scheduled to take place in the Statistics Materials Section on the 3rd floor (Central Asia, Middle East & North Africa) from Tuesday, November 4 to Friday November 28 (tentative; the final day is a regular closing day).During this period, please refrain from entering the cordoned-off work area. All other services remain operational as usual. We thank you for your understanding.

  IDE Library is available without reservation for visiting from April 1, 2025. You can access all floors. We appreciate your cooperation.
• February 14, 2025
  Photocopying service through post (only for people residing in Japan) will be temporarily suspended from Sunday, March 16th to Monday, March 31st. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

  Heating system is not working properly in our library. We apologize for the inconvenience, though please bring warm clothing as needed.

  Cleaning work in the library starts on October 25th. Visitors can use the library services by making a reservation in advance as before. However, during the cleaning work, we may ask you to adjust your reservation date depending on the materials and the dates you request to the library. We apologize for any inconvenience and the noise caused by the cleaning. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
