IDE-JETRO signs MOU with Indonesian Business Council (IBC)

The Institute of Developing Economies (IDE-JETRO) and the Indonesian Business Council (IBC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on research cooperation on February 19, 2025.

The Indonesia Business Council (IBC) was established as an association of leaders of the private business world to increase cooperation between business activists and the public and private sectors in February 2023. To enhance Indonesia's economic competitiveness, IBC conducts data analysis and rigorous research, providing insights to the government and policymakers on critical issues related to Indonesia's further development.

Following the conclusion of this MOU, IDE-JETRO intends to enhance its cooperation with IBC's research division, promoting joint research and outreach activities. This collaboration is expected to facilitate the sharing of the latest insights into Indonesia's diplomacy and economy, as well as valuable findings from studies on developing and emerging countries.
