Chaiman KIMURA Fukunari Holds Meeting with the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).

On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Chairman M. Arsjad Rasjid of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and his party visited JETRO headquarters and exchanged opinions with Mr. KIMURA Fukunari, Chairman of IDE-JETRO, Ms. MURAYAMA Mayumi, Executive Vice President of IDE-JETRO and Ms. HAMADA Miki and Mr. HIGASIKATA Takayuki who are both specializing in Indonesia.
Chairman M. Arsjad Rasjid also serves as chairman of the Indonesian Business Council (IBC), a private think tank established in 2023 by major Indonesian companies.
In the exchange of views, in light of the new Indonesian government's aim to join the ranks of developed countries by 2045, IDE-JETRO introduced industrial agglomeration research and global value chain (GVC) analysis as research that will contribute to policy recommendations to the new government.
