Description
The video introduces a novel model of HTHP system simulation. The model is used to predict the performance of R1233zd(E) applied in a two-stage compression with vapor injection system, which can achieve high temperature, large scale and high efficiency.

Description
Poor design of heat pump systems for residential buildings leads to increased costs and faltering market penetration. Using Systematic Process Intensification (SPrInt) methodology, we integrate the operating behavior of heat pumps already in the design process. This allows us to identify optimal heat pump systems for existing buildings which accelerate the heat pump to overtake boilers towards a sustainable building sector. You wonder how fast we really are already? Take a look at the SPrInt like Forrest Pump.

Description
We have been investigating particle removal technology to solve the environmental issues faced with air pollution. This video describes the technology or research to remove harmful nano-particles such as fine dust, bacteria, and fungi as one of studies in our laboratory. Cyclone is efficient and facile device to separate nano-particles from surrounding air without any electrical power. We are going to design and optimize it to get high efficiency and low pressure drop by using commercial simulation tool, Ansys Fluent.

Description
We are a student group from South-Eastern Finland University Of Applied Sciences. Each from our class applied for variety of fascinating projects. The Mölnlycke Health Care energy efficiency project was the most interesting because it had great potential for finding energy-efficient solutions. The aim of the project was to find out options to use waste heat generated by exhaust airflow. Our task was to find out the current energy content of the exhaust air and how to improve the energy efficiency in the facility.

Sherlock HiLmes: The Adventure of the Hardware in the Loop Investigations of Heat Pumps - A Case of Efficiency
Christian Vering (RWTH Aachen University), Stephan Göbel (RWTH Aachen University), Thomas Henn (RWTH Aachen University), Tim Klebig (RWTH Aachen University), Jonas Klingebiel (RWTH Aachen University)
Description
Safe investigation of natural refrigerants is the first step in evolving conventional heat pumps into safe, environmentally friendly and sustainable heat pumps of the future. Take a detective's look like Sherlock HiLmes at our methods for determining efficiency in dynamic Hardware in the Loop (HiL) experiments, investigating propane component performances in a reliable test environment, and exploiting the potential of defrosting strategies. Or as ErHiL Clapton used to sing:
If you want to get warm, let your heat pump perform – Propane!
When your tanks out of gas and you’re freezing your ass – Propane!
