Hi @daisuk and @mokaldo1 your posts were merged since they are the same question and it sure seems like you're the same person! Anyway, it actually is up to you which device you wish to purchase. If you want to save on money and have a few features less, consider the Fitbit Inspire 3. Reviews vary on everything. A good example is a movie. I often enjoy a film that others may hate. It's all in what you prefer. ... View more

Hi @Rnda13 you can learn more in this article - click to read. If I'm reading it right, as long as your Luxe is supported, you can keep the Fitbit account and not go to Google. As for the friend steps showing, many people like to know where they fit step-wise with others who use the devices. If you're missing competition, make your own challenges at Stridekick.com, which has a free version where you and your friends can really compete. There is even a challenge to read daily! ... Hi @Jake68 Fitbit's purchase by Google was completed in January 2021. They have been slowly transitioning things over the past four and a half years. They've even extended the time we all have to switch over to a Google account, by a year. When the Charge 6 came out, people had to set up using a Google account, so it's not been unexpected. Not sure why you don't want a Google account. If you're using an Android phone, you already have a Google account so you can access the Play Store to get a variety of apps. Even my husband, who doesn't use all the features of his Android smartphone, has a Google account, although he doesn't actively use it. ... View more

Hi @random345 while these devices might be water resistant, they are best left on the charger while we're showering. Do not charge your device until you've tried getting all the moisture out of it or your battery will fry. A bowl of dry rice works well to get the moisture out. Those silicon packets used to restore wet cellphones works well too. One member of the forums used a hair dryer to complete the process. Sometimes the Fitbit will bounce back and other times it won't. Hope you're able to get yours going again. ... View more

Hi @Nonna9 the little things can get tucked into the most amazing spots, but this article - click to read - should give you some helpful tips on how to find it. When you're in range, about 25 or so feet, it will sync, so that helps to find it at home. If it's set up for notifications, try texting yourself and listen for a rattling as it vibrates. Sometimes it's closer than you think. Let us know what happens. ... View more
