Tiziano Ropele

Tiziano Ropele joined the Bank of Italy in 2006 and is currently an advisor in the Economic Research Unit (Milan). His main research interests are in theoretical and applied macroeconomics, with a focus on monetary policy, banking, business surveys and expectations. He was a Visiting Scholar at the New York University, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and an NCB expert at the European Central Bank. His research has been published on journals such as the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Economic Journal and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
