Mariana Viollaz

Mariana Viollaz is a Senior Researcher at the Center for Distributive, Labor and Social Studies (CEDLAS) of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), Argentina. She has a Ph.D. in Economics from UNLP and has been a postdoctoral fellow at the ILR School of Cornell University, USA. Her research is focused on gender and labor economics in developing countries. She has published several articles in journals such as the Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Development Economics, World Development, World Bank Research Observer, Journal of Development Studies, and in institutional working paper series of the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, IZA, and CEDLAS.
