World Conquest

Great Pacific War
Great Pacific War uses three maps to display the breadth of its conflict, Imperial Japan's attempt to displace the United States and Britain as master of Asia and the Pacific. Two to four players represent the United States, Japan, Britain and the Soviet Union. Multiple scenarios allow players to pick up the conflict with its early roots in 1939, the Japanese attack of 1941, the turning point of 1943 or the final confrontation starting in 1944.

Co-Prosperity Sphere
Co-Prosperity Sphere is an expansion book for Great Pacific War, this alternative-history setting presents a Japanese Empire controlling eastern Siberia, the Philippines and Hawaii, with the resources to stand up against American aggression in the Pacific. With 100 new silky-smooth, die-cut playing pieces and four new scenarios.

Great Patriotic War

Defiant Russia
Defiant Russia is our fast-playing game of the Axis invasion of the Soviet Union, known as Operation Barbarossa. The Playbook Edition gives you everything you need to play, except dice, in a book.

Defiant Russia puts its emphasis on fast and challenging play. Play is easy; strategy, not so much. The Axis player starts with overwhelming force, but has a stiff set of objectives to meet. The Soviets will usually see much of the seemingly-powerful Red Army melt away in the first turns of play, but reinforcements are on their way.

You get 200 playing pieces and a 28x22-inch map. The map extends from Berlin in the west to Kuybyshev in the east, and from Petrozavodsk in the north on down to Kars in the south. There is plenty of room for rampaging.

Defiant Russia: Red Victory
Red Victory uses the map from our Defiant Russia game and 180 additional pieces to re-create this campaign on your game table. The game system is the same as that of Defiant Russia, with a few minor alterations to reflect the changed situation.

Red Victory includes full-color player aids like those for the Defiant Russia Players’ Edition, including scenario set-ups. The 180 pieces represent for the most part armies for the Soviets and corps for the Germans. There are also Yugoslav partisans, Romanians, Bulgarians, and Hungarians present. There’s also a 32-page book containing the rules and the usual background you’ve come to expect from an Avalanche Press product. Red Victory is not a complete game: ownership of Defiant Russia is necessary for its play.
