Square bullet Activities

• Talk to elders about the stars: how they were viewed years ago, Native names, etc.
• On a good night, go out with camera and tripod, field glasses, or telescope. Film the stars:
  • use a fast (high ASA or DIN) film such as Tri-X, Kodak 2435, or HP5
    meter your shots; take over- and under-exposures; set on "B" (leave the lens open for several minutes or more) to show star movement.
• Use a guide to identify stars, planets, shooting stars, satellites.
• Develop the photos; make a large sky map with all information included.
