VisiCorp Visi On Bootable 1.4 meg disk image
- includes the tutorial and the word processor (this requires a Mouse Systems
PC Mouse compatible serial mouse to run)
A preconfigured Visi On zip file of Visi
On with executables for XT and AT computers. This includes Graph, however
Graph will only run on an XT. The Original
unaltered files from the install disks, and Floppy
Disk Images dumped by various utilities.
Visi On hard drive image for use with MESS,
mess1001_w95.zip
needed to run it, and the required MESS ROMS: IBMPC.ZIP,

Windows 8 Advertisement
PARODY.mp4
This is a parody of a Windows 8 advertisement using Microsoft Windows
1. Mainly because Windows 8 brought back forced tiled ("Metro") windows.
QNX 1.4mb Floppy
Disk Demo.mp4
This is live demonstration of QNX running on real hardware - using
only a 1.44mb floppy disk and no hard drive -, captured using a VGA video
capture device. At the time this was made, no emulator could properly run
the QNX 1.44mb demo.
The Xerox Alto In Action.mp4
This is a demonstration of the Xerox Alto graphical file manager and
applications running in an emulator - edited for time since the Alto and
emulators were quite slow.
VisiCorp Visi On
in Action.mp4
This is a video that shows Visi On in action running in an emulator.
This gives you an idea of not just how it looked, but how it would have
run on a 4.77mhz 8088. It is a bit slow, but is quite impressive if you
realize it is all running in a Smalltalk style byte-coded virtual machine.
Apple
II Desktop In Action (Apple IIe 128k).mp4
This is a video demonstrating Apple II desktop running in an emulator.
This is a Macintosh stile file manager running on a 6502 machine that is
much less powerful than the original Macintosh, runs from a 140k 5.25"
floppy disk, and uses only 128k without the benefit of a graphics library
in ROM like the Macintosh.
eComstation
Demo CD In Action With Firefox 10.mp4
This is a demonstration of the eComstation demonstration live CD running,
with an upgraded version of Firefox 10. This demonstrates how eComstation,
which is based on IBM OS/2, is a very capable OS.
Tandy WinMate Demonstration.mp4
This is sort of a walk through of Tandy WinMate using its own built
in multimedia help narration. This shell was bundled on Tandy Sensation
computers.
Viewing
YouTube under Windows NT 3.51 in 2012.mp4
Not possible any more, but in 2012 one could still use the older flash
plugin to view Youtube with the SeaMonkey or Firefox 2 browser under 32-bit
Intel Windows NT 3.51. This is interesting looking as it uses the same
Program Manager and window management interface as Windows 3.1, but has
similar 32-bit API capabilities as Windows 95 and NT 4.
VisiCorp
Visi On 1983 Promotional Video (kc4wFeVvKTI).mp4
I did not create this one, but I have saved it here for preservation.
It is a 1983 promotional video of VisiCorp Visi On, that appears to show
off a pre-release versions of Visi On and everything it can do. Aside from
the interesting assortment of vintage computers, it appears to show Visi
On running on a Wang Professional Computer - a machine that is not IBM
PC compatible but had a higher resolution graphics display than the IBM
PC.
