Thank you so much for turning in and participation in 13th International Energy Agency Heat Pump Conference.

It was our great pleasure and honor to have hosted the 13th International Energy Agency Heat Pump Conference during April 26~29, 2021, in Jeju, Korea. On behalf of the National Organizing Committee, we wish to express our sincere thanks for your proactive participation and involvement in the HPC 2020. We hope you all had unforgettable good time. I would like to announce the successful end to the 13th International Energy Agency Heat Pump Conference.

This year’s HPC 2020 was unique in not only the hybrid platform but also the program which featured all phases of heat pumping technologies. Despite the enormous challenges from the pandemic, the conference was successful and attendance exceeded our expectations. I couldn’t be prouder of the commitment and efforts that went into making this conference possible.

More than 370 participants attended the conference from 26 countries. Altogether 201 papers including 6 plenary lectures were presented in the technical sessions. We hope that all participants had a meaningful time listening to the presentations and having fruitful discussions on scientific and technological issues with experts from all around the world.

I would like to thank each and every one who contributed for this year’s conference and would like to call for continued dedication in pushing this field of science forward.
We wish you the best and until the next time we meet, please be safe and healthy.

See you all in two years later in Chicago, Illinois.

About Conference

Energy and the environment – two topics that are always of great concern to human beings. Heating and cooling play a great role in our daily life, we use a tremendous amount of fossil fuels for heating and cooling. When changing temperature levels using substantial energy input, a heat pump is always recommended as promising technologies against climate change.

With this in mind, the 13th IEA Heat Pump Conference will be held in Jeju Island from Monday, April 26st through Thursday, April 29th in 2021. With the theme ‘Heat Pumps – Mission for the Green World’, we aim to address global climate change and discuss necessary actions.
