Distribution service resumption of NBRC strains in active culture and frozen thawed forms internationally.(June 1, 2023)NEW
- We are pleased to announce that the service of shipping NBRC strains in active culture and frozen thawed forms to overseas will be resumed from June 1, 2023.
The change of shipping method for overseas(February 1, 2022)
- NBRC will change the standard shipping method from postal service to courier service NBRC selects effective from February 1, 2022. Postal service is no longer available for overseas.
The change of distributable strains and shipping method for overseas(December 25, 2020)
- NBRC has been experiencing delays and returns, retentions by the customs in shipping products to customers overseas due to the COVID-19. To continue providing the possible service in the best condition during this time, we have suspended distribution of NBRC strains in active culture and frozen thawed forms internationally.
Biological Resource Center, NITE (NBRC) has been expanding its collection of microbial resources and actively performing taxonomic characterization of individual microorganisms such as bacteria including actinomycetes and archaea, yeasts, fungi, algae, bacteriophages and DNA resources for academic research and industrial applications. NBRC is a member of WFCC, OECD Global BRC Network, ACM and JSCC. Since 2006, we are certified by quality management system ISO 9001.
