Sphere Factor is a 2-vs.-2 minigame in Mario Party 7 and Mario Party: The Top 100 .

Overview[edit ]

The object of the minigame is for each pair to get its giant ball to the goal. The ball must be pushed around and through many obstacles, which include mini-mazes, Monty Moles, Whomps, and a bridge that is particularly hard to get over. If the ball falls off the bridge, it needs to be pushed up a steep hill. The team that gets its ball to the goal first wins. If five minutes pass in Mario Party 7, the minigame ends in a tie.

In Mario Party: The Top 100, the balls roll much faster than they did in Mario Party 7.

Naming[edit ]

"Sphere Factor" is a play on "sphere" and the NBC reality game show Fear Factor . Pier Factor from Mario Party 6 references the same show.
