Light Speed is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 7 .

Overview[edit ]

Players in their hoverkarts attempt to run over the tiles to change them to their own colors. There are also warp zones that help players go across the areas easily. The player who has more tiles of their color after time runs out wins. If both players have the same number of tiles of their colors at the end of the minigame, it ends in a tie.

The winning player stands in the middle of the tile floor, outside their hover-car, and does their victory pose while the tiles constantly change color by row. The losing player is not seen. If the minigame ends in a tie, both players stay on their respective tiles as they spin in circles in their hoverkarts.
