Smash Cards were a series of e-cards created in Adobe Flash made to promote the release of Super Smash Bros. A total of seven were made, with three involving fighters from the Super Mario franchise: Mario, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi, respectively.
Usage[edit ]
Each Smash Card opens with a notification that the viewer has received a Smash Card, followed by one of seven fighters giving an identical disclaimer to promote the official Super Smash Bros. website.[1] Each Smash Card has a short, comical animation focused on a particular fighter.
The Link and Fox Smash Cards have no existing archives, so their contents are unknown. All plotlines have at least one character from the Super Mario franchise.
