IGN's Resident Evil Requiem walkthrough and strategy guide will lead you through every step of the game from the title screen to the final credits, including every collectible location like Antique Coins, Bobbleheads, Files and more. Our RE9 Walkthrough also contains important tips, boss strategies and much more.

Resident Evil Requiem features a dual protagonist system where players will be often be swapping between rookie FBI agent Grace Ashcroft, and veteran DSO agent and series regular Leon S. Kennedy. Each of them plays similarly to previous games in the series, with Grace's sections being focused on the survival horror aspects of RE2 Remake and RE7's small inventory and sparse ammo, while Leon's section play fast and furious in the vein of RE4 Remake's quick and reactive combat.

RE9 Walkthrough and 100% Guide Sections

RE9's Main Story is spread across three major locations (as well as a smaller tutorial area), which we have divided up into segments where you play either as Grace or Leon. There are also certain areas where Leon can traverse an area Grace has already been, which can alter what you may encounter based on things you have done previously. Our walkthrough is written for the Standard (Modern) difficulty, but note that if you are playing on Standard (Classic), you will have to find Ink Ribbons to save when playing as Grace.

In addition, there may be certain changes to the game when playing either on Casual or the unlockable Insanity Modes, and certain item and enemy placement may change, as well as the codes for safes. If you want to skip to RE9's Safe Codes and Combinations, or Mr. Raccoon Bobblehead Locations, go for it, but we include these along the way in the Walkthrough too.

We also highly recommend sticking with the default camera style the game recommends, playing as Grace in first person, and Leon in third person, as our walkthrough will reflect that. To learn more, select a walkthrough section below:

Tutorial - Wrenwood

The city of Wrenwood, located not far from the ruins of Raccoon City, is where the story begins, as both Grace and Leon pursue separate leads on a series of mysterious deaths that all involve survivors of the Raccoon City Incident.

Rhodes Hill

Grace will be taken to the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, where Leon's investigation will also soon lead. The mysterious clinic is run by the shadowy Dr. Victor Gideon, a former T-Virus researcher for Umbrella, and has seemingly continued his work on the unsuspecting patients here.

Raccoon City

Leon's search will take him back to where it all began: Raccoon City. The bombed ruins have been abandoned for decades, and Leon will now need to face his past in order to uncover the secret that has been hiding under the city all this time.

ARK

Umbrella's secret research facility beneath the ruins of Raccoon City appears to have continued its operations, with several groups all vying to unlock its greatest power: Elpis. With time running out, Leon and Grace must find Spencer's final creation and decide its fate.
