Collectibles

Updated:

While Jack is looking high and low for clues on his latest case, make sure you also keep an eye out for the four collectible types in Mouse: P.I. For Hire — newspapers, comics, baseball cards, and schematics. To find the exact location in each level, check our walkthroughs. We also have another page noting the locations of the Secret Collectibles.

Any newspapers or comics you miss finding in a level can be bought from the Ammo Store in the P.I. Office area so you won’t be without any of these collectibles.

Newspapers

You’ll find various newspapers with different stories all laying about in Mouseburg. You can also buy select newspapers from the paperboy outside Jack’s office. Gathering the newspapers gives you a closer look at what’s going on in Mouseburg, adding background knowledge. When buying these from the Ammo shop, they will have duplicates of ones you've already picked up, so be sure you don't already have it before purchasing.

Comics

Slowly, you get to piece together the Mouse P.I. For Hire comic book, one strip at a time. Each strip gives a few new panels to read, furthering the story just a little bit more.

Note: The slots in the comic menu are labelled differently from the number of the strips. For example - Comic: 6 is the 6th strip, but because we also picked up the cover, it sits in spot 7. These are labeled as they would be in the shop, via the number of the strip not the slot number on the menu.

Baseball Cards

If you enjoy games within games, you’ll be happy to know there’s a baseball card "baseball" mini game you can play. When you go into the bars, there is a table with a baseball diamond on it and an opponent sitting on the other side. For 25ドル you can play for the chance to earn a Spike-D Prize Token to be used at the Spike-D Vending Machine. When you have enough tokens you can get a weapon from the machine. There are three types of cards — pitchers, batters, and skills. You switch off between batter and pitcher as the game goes on. This chart only has the cards you can find during your assignments.

Schematics

Schematics are blueprint pieces you give to Tammy at her shop in the part of town your P.I. Office is in so you can upgrade your weapons. There are three upgrade tiers for each weapon:

  • Tier 1 - 1 Schematic
  • Tier 2 - 3 Schematics
  • Tier 3 - 5 Schematics

These are the schematics we were able to locate:
