North Ford Bog Collection Chests

The North Ford Bog Region is home to 7 Collection Chests that contain Conjuration Recipes to use in the Room of Requirement, Wand Handle cosmetics, or Traits to apply to gear with the Loom. Though you can tell what type of reward you’ll get from the shape of the chest, the specific loot is randomized based on what you still need to collect.

This Collection Chests guide applies to all versions of Hogwarts Legacy, including the original PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S versions of Hogwarts Legacy, as well as the Switch version from November 2023.

North Ford Bog Collection Chest Locations

There are 7 Chests in the North Ford Bog region, which encompasses the area north of the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Valley regions, and they can often be found in hamlets or bandit camps.

North Ford Bog - Pitt-Upon-Ford Collection Chests

To access this Collection Chest in the hamlet of Pitt-Upon-Ford, you’ll first need to learn Alohomora III, which is unlocked as you progress The Man Behind The Moons side quest. Once you have access to this spell, head west across the bridge from the hamlet to find the house and loot the Collection Chest on the floor upstairs.

Find this Collection Chest in the unlocked house just east of the vendor, Indira Wolff. There are two doors on the house – one of them has a warning about a rampant dugbog nearby.

To access this Collection Chest, you’ll first need to learn Alohomora I, which is unlocked as a reward for completing The Caretaker's Lunar Lament main quest. Find the house with a Level I lock located west of the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame. There is a stack of logs outside the front.

Use Alohomora to enter the house. Head upstairs to find the Collection Chest near some cages at the foot of the bed.

To access this Collection Chest, you’ll first need to learn Alohomora I, which is unlocked as a reward for completing The Caretaker's Lunar Lament main quest. You’ll find the house just north of the Pitt-Upon-Ford Floo Flame.

Use Alohomora to enter the house. Head inside to find the Collection Chest in the living area on the first floor next to a pair of chairs.

North Ford Bog - Southern Bandit Camp Collection Chest

This Collection Chest is in a Small Bandit Camp located south of the hamlet of Pitt-Upon-Ford. Defeat all enemies in the area. Once clear, find the chest in the tent in the eastern part of the camp.

North Ford Bog - Northern Bandit Camp Collection Chest

• Contains: Attribute Trait

This Collection Chest is in a Small Bandit Camp located southeast of the North Ford Bog Floo Flame. Defeat all enemies in the area. Once clear, find the chest outside the tent in the eastern part of the camp.

North Ford Bog - Eastern Bandit Camp Collection Chest

• Contains: Attribute Trait

This Collection Chest is in a Small Bandit Camp located northeast of the East North Ford Bog Floo Flame. Defeat all enemies in the area. Once clear, find the chest inside the tent in the western part of the camp.
