In Final Fantasy 2, having the right weapon is imperative to succeed in the battle against the empire. More than that, this entry in the long-standing franchise, places great emphasis on stats, weapons and spells to to be the center of its leveling system.
Each weapon has its own proficiency level and has a skill cap of level 16. Reaching this level in at least one weapon will earn you the Weapon Tactics trophy. Depending on the weapon you equip, the character's Attack stat will also vary.
