Changing Modules

Before 15 October 2025

• Students should first consult with their Course Advisers or Directors of Studies about their proposed changes. Once this has been agreed, please email the Postgraduate Education Office in order to make the change.

From 6 October 2025

• Please contact the Postgraduate Education Office to find out if their is space available on the module and to confirm if their are any timetable clashes.
• Download the module change form or collect one from the Postgraduate Education Office.
• Students should then consult with their Course Advisers or Directors of Studies about their proposed changes. Once this has been agreed, please return the signed form to Postgraduate Education Office in order to make the change.

Deadlines for changing modules

• 15 October 2025, 16:00 The deadline for the final selection of modules for Michaelmas Term. Thereafter no further changes may be made to Michaelmas modules.
• 3 December 2025, 16:00 The deadline for the final selection of modules for Lent Term (削除) 2025. (削除ここまで) Thereafter no further changes may be made to Lent modules.

Final module selections will be approved by the Postgraduate Education Committee at their meeting in Michaelmas Term.

Part III students should refer to the Information for Directors of Studies and students for the final dates for module enrolment on CamSIS.

Project forms

All project proposals and their cover sheets must be signed by the project supervisor and also the relevant Course Adviser or Director of Studies before being submitted to the Postgraduate Education Office (削除) FS03 (削除ここまで).

Students must submit the signed proposal forms by the published deadlines (see Part III and MPhil ACS projects timetable).

If you require, or have organised, a desk within a research group, this should be agreed with your supervisor and Departmental Secretary, and arrangements noted under section C of the form.

• Ethical Review Policy which explains the steps you need to take to obtain the necessary approval first to involve experiments on human subjects.
• Board of Graduate Studies certificate of submission To accompany the final M.Phil project report in June (Not applicable for Part III students)
