Responsibilities:
- Expertise in data modelling strategies, governance, and security best practices to ensure efficient data flow.
- Proficiency in Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or similar databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with vector databases and integrating vector embeddings.
- Expertise in building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
- Hands-on experience deploying, fine-tuning, and integrating AI models (e.g., transformers, embeddings) into data platforms.
- Understanding of cloud services, particularly in data storage, compute, and AI/ML integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years hands on experience
- Familiarity with DBT or similar data transformation tools.
- Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
- Familiarity with DBT or similar data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
