Gronw

Meaning unknown, perhaps from Old Welsh gur "man". According to the Fourth Branch of the Mabinogi [1] he was the lover of Blodeuwedd. He attempted to murder her husband Lleu Llaw Gyffes with a special spear he crafted over the course of a year, but Lleu transformed into an eagle. After he was restored to human form he killed Gronw.
