Latinized form of 𐎠𐎼𐏁𐎣 (Aršaka) or Parthian 𐭀𐭓𐭔𐭊 (Aršak), perhaps a diminutive of Old Persian . This name was borne by two rulers of Parthia, including the first king (3rd century BC).
