Refund policy
All purchases made through APA are generally nonrefundable unless explicitly stated otherwise below. Refunds, where applicable, are subject to the conditions and timeframes outlined for each category.
APA reserves the right to make exceptions in mitigating circumstances at its sole discretion, including but not limited to technical access issues, billing errors, or extraordinary situations beyond the customer’s control.
Qualified publications
Returns are accepted within 30 days of the invoice date. Please indicate the reason for the return. View the full returns policy for APA publications.
APA PsycNet products operate on an annual subscription basis and are not returnable or refundable. View the full APA PsycNet refund policy.
Membership products
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can cancel your order for a full refund for up to 30 days from the purchase date. After 30 days from the date of purchase, APA will only honor requests to cancel your order without a refund in whole or in part. This includes APA memberships, divisions, subscriptions, and books.
Continuing education programs
No refunds. All sales are final. In the event of an error by the APA Order Department or the APA Office of Continuing Education in Psychology, we will accept returns and refunds. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Continuing Education at (800) 374-2721, ext. 5991, option 3.
APA Services, Inc. events
