Business Essentials: Starting Up Your U.S. Solo Health Service Psychologist Private Practice

Most psychologists were trained to provide care, not run a business. Yet running a successful private practice requires more than clinical skills. It demands systems, pricing models, and strategies that protect your time, income, and peace of mind.

That’s why APA created the Business Essentials masterclass. This program is designed specifically for U.S. licensed health service psychologists who are starting or early in solo private practice. The program:

  • Fills the gap between your clinical training and the realities of practice ownership
  • Equips you with the business skills, systems, and strategies to launch and grow a thriving private practice
  • Prepares you to run your practice with confidence—not guesswork
