Green Day has released the first trailer for Nimrods: A Green Day Comedy, which hits theaters on August 14th.

The film follows three friends who travel to Los Angeles after mistakenly believing their band is opening for Green Day on New Year's Eve. The road trip quickly turns into a chaotic adventure inspired by Green Day's early years living and touring in a van.

The movie was directed by Lee Kirk and features a cast that includes Mason Thames, Mckenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Sean Gunn, Bobby Lee, and Fred Armisen.

Green Day also shows up in the film as themselves, and the movie includes performances specifically for the movie.

Shinedown's Brent Smith and Zach Myers recently appeared on comedian Matt Mathews' YouTube series Farm Chores where they headed to his farm in Alabama to help out with some chores and talk about Shinedown's new album EI8HT.

They spend the day shoveling manure, chasing chickens, feeding Wookie the donkey, brushing pigs...basically getting a firsthand look at life outside of sold-out arenas and tour buses. It's the best think you'll see all day.

For decades, Guns N' Roses fans had only heard rumors about a documentary called Perfect Crime. The film followed the band during their massive Use Your Illusion tour in the early '90s and was finished back in 1994. Then... it just disappeared.

Now, a rough cut has surfaced on YouTube. It has everything: backstage parties, waiters dressed as Roman soldiers, a giant pig served on a platter, and dancers in lederhosen. There's even footage of Axl Rose getting treatment from an osteopath on an airport runway.

If you're a Guns N' Roses fan, it's a fascinating time capsule from one of the biggest rock tours of all time. If you're not a fan, it's still worth watching just to see how completely different the rock world was back then.

It's finally happening. Evanescence is dropping a new album and first one in five years. It's called Sanctuary, out June 5th. Along with the announcement, the band dropped a new single called "Who Will Follow You" (below).

Amy Lee says the album has been more than three years in the making, calling it something she's "so damn proud of" and admitting she's been completely obsessed with the project:

"Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection... good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn't know what to do with myself now! I've been completely obsessed. I'm dying for the fans to hear this."

Evanescence is coming to Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on August 1st and you can WIN tickets to the show by texting RUNS to 800-821-9970.
