Tuitiion for the English Language Institute (ELI) is based on your class standing, your residency status, and the number of classes you enroll in per semester. The table below serves as an estimate of what you can expect to pay for tuition as a student in the ELI for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Additional information
Students should be prepared to pay the full amount of tuition due within the week after classes begin. Otherwise, late payment fees will accrue. Payment options include credit card, international wire, or in-person cash. Learn more about the process for each type of payment.
If you want to receive a 100% tuition refund, you must officially drop classes by the last day for tuition cancellation deadline indicated on the registration calendar. The last day to drop classes and receive a full refund is typically during the second week of classes. Please notify the ELI that you have done so, or if you have any questions.
