MuseScore Studio 4.7.3 is now available
We're pleased to bring you a small update to MuseScore Studio: version 4.7.3.
This update contains fixes for several crashes as well as the total page count variable in headers & footers. We also added an option to disable the low pass filter for MS Basic, which should help if you found certain instruments to be too quiet in 4.7.
You can get the update right away via MuseHub or here at MuseScore.org.
Learn about all the new features in version 4.7, including many new engraving tools, significant workflow improvements, helpful new guitar features, and important upgrades to the audio engine.
For more information, see the 4.7.3 GitHub project, and don't forget to check out the 4.7 release video!

I've noticed that MS4.7.2 is presently unaware of the 4.7.3 update:
-
the 4.7.3 upgrade isn't offered at MS4.7.2 startup
-
MS4.7.2's Help>Check for Update says, You're up to date!

It's pretty normal that new versions don't show up right away for the in-app updates, for a vairety of reasons. You can do the update from MuseHub on Windows or macOS, or via the "update" command-line option on Linux.
Strangely enough, some bug fixes haven't been included in the current version 4.7.3 yet. https://github.com/orgs/musescore/projects/120/views/1
For example, the issue I reported (#33507) on GitHub hasn't been fixed in the current version. Does anyone know why?

That issue has been resolved for 4.7.3 via https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/33594, but as far as I can tell not yet for main, hence in https://github.com/orgs/musescore/projects/120/views/1 it is listed under "Needs porting"
