- Why do I need to enter my credit card information to access the free Links API plan?

Valid credit card details are required to set up your free API plan, this helps us to ensure you account is genuine and prevent abuse of our system
- Will I be charged for the free API plan?

Rest assured, funds will not be removed from your account unless you upgrade from the free API plan to a paid plan. This is different to the Moz Pro free trial which will automatically renew if you don’t cancel renewal during your trial. The bank may apply a 1ドル authentication to your card to ensure it’s valid, this will be instantly refunded.
- Will I be charged overages on the free API plan?

In some cases a small amount of overage will be allowed on the free plan, you will not be charged. We only charge overage for paid API plans.
- Can I share access to my Links API subscription with seated users?

No, multi-seat access is not available for the Links API. Seated users on your account will not be able to access your Access ID or Secret Key.
Whether you are interested in a free or paid plan we do require valid credit card information to authenticate your account. Please note: The API key sign up process is the same for both free and paid plans.
To get started with the Moz Links API follow these steps:
Log into your Moz account - moz.com/users/login
Choose a Plan or select Try it free! From the Moz API Plans and Pricing page
Enter your payment details (A credit card is required for a free API plan)
Set up your API Credentials - Generate your API token
What are API Credentials?
Every API customer receives API token.
Keep your API Token private! You are responsible for all requests made with your API token, whether you authorized them or not. If you believe your API token is no longer secret, please regenerate and contact us immediately.
