Prizes will be awarded by Wikimedia Sverige. The winners will be announced as soon as possible. If articles that have been written and nominated during the Challenge are in the Feature or Good article nomination process (or equivalent on your wiki) we will wait for the process to finalize. Please inform us about any nominations.
The prizes will be awarded to the Wikipedians who have verifiably made the best contributions in any language combination (see the rules and scoring system).
The Prizes are:[1]
- 1st:
- A personal diploma signed by the Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs.
- A scholarship for participation at Wikimedia's yearly conference Wikimania, which will be organized in Stockholm 14-18 August 2019. This include accommodation, entrance fee for the conference and the costs for flights (up to a maximum of 1,500 USD).
- 2nd: A book about Stockholm (in English), the city where Wikimania will be hosted.
- 3rd: A book about Stockholm (in English), the city where Wikimania will be hosted.
- 4th-10th: Wikipedia pencil, Wikipedia pin and Wikipedia decals.
- ↑ Note: If deemed necessary because of unforeseen problems, the organizers reserve the right to change the prizes to a suitable replacement.
