Prizes
Prizes will be awarded by Wikimedia Sverige. The winners will be announced as soon as possible. If articles that have been written and nominated during the Challenge are in the Feature or GA article nomination process (or equivalent on your wiki) we will wait for the process to finalize. Please inform us about any nominations.
The prizes will be awarded to the Wikipedians who have verifiably made the best contributions in any language combination (see the rules and scoring system).
The Prizes are:[1]
- 1st: The winner will receive a signed copy of the UNESCO World Heritage Atlas and can choose between using 150 USD in price money at the Wikimedia Store (https://store.wikimedia.org) OR get a print of one of the World Heritage photos (from https://int.pixum.com/poster-canvas#anchorPriceList).
- 2nd: 100 USD in price money at the Wikimedia Store (https://store.wikimedia.org) and a signed copy of the UNESCO World Heritage Atlas.
- 3rd: 50 USD in price money at the Wikimedia Store (https://store.wikimedia.org) and a signed copy of the UNESCO World Heritage Atlas.
- 4th-10th: Wikipedia pencil, Wikipedia pin and Wikipedia decals.
Special prizes
- The first 100 participants that get at least 7 points related to a world heritage in Sweden will get the book World heritage sites in Sweden. This prize is sponsored by the Swedish National Heritage Board.
- The participant that gets most points related to a world heritage in Spain will get a book or video from an on-line shop related to World Heritage in Spain valued in circa 25 USD. This prize is sponsored by Wikimedia España.
- ↑ Note: If deemed necessary because of unforeseen problems, the organizers reserve the right to change the prizes to a suitable replacement.
