New Inactivity of Admins Policy on Wikispecies.
I am not sure how you do this so apologies if the wrong place.
On wikispecies I have spent the last few weeks developing an admin review policy which was put to the community for two weeks in an RfC received consensus and has now been put Here. Wikispecies has had several discussions on this over a two year period, links to these are in the RfC linked above. At the same time we discussed a number of admins and crats who had not edited in a considerable time and requests for them to have their advanced rights have been made on this main page. As in keeping with Meta's policy I wanted the Stewards to be aware of our local policy, invite you to examine it. It is largely based on the one at Commons. At which point if it could be acknowledged that Wikispecies has its own local policy in place regarding admin inactivity and removal of admin and crat user privileges as needed. - The list was updated, I have written a note in the Stewards' noticeboard. --Melos (talk) 21:16, 4 March 2017 (UTC)
Oversight in Arwiki
Hi Stewards, we have 4 oversight candidacies in Arabic Wikipedia and it was closed today, the results:
- لا روسا is: 13 support - 0 oppose
- فيصل is: 14 support - 0 oppose
- مصعب is: 21 support - 1 oppose
- سامي الرحيلي is: 17 support - 0 oppose
we don't have an Arbitration Committee, and according to the global policy unfortunately all these candidacies less than 25 vote and it are unsuccessful, we also have a big community and a lot of active users (no exception), I don't know if these candidacies are successful or not, we need any steward to confirm that --Ibrahim.ID ✪ 17:48, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, we cannot promote local oversighters without 25 supporting votes, even if there is no opposition. – Ajraddatz (talk) 17:56, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
