Quite a lot of the accounts listed here have submitted unblock requests claiming that they participated in a wiki-editing class that is (from here, this is what I assume) not affiliated with any affiliates or foundation. I would like to request a check specifically on the UA to determine whether they are indeed the same person or the "participating in a class" argument. Thanks in advance.

I haven't investigated all the accounts, but I'll tell you the results of investigating a random selection of accounts; This is my personal opinion, and I think you will fully understand the functional limitations of checkuser. If these accounts are indeed one group of editors, as I see it, then it is possible that they actually edited collectively. Overlapping UAs among them can occur due to updates, and in fact, accounts often have inconsistent UAs on the same day, indicating that they are not a single device. --Sotiale (talk) 08:39, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

Well.. I think you already know the reason. I don't know anything about it, because checkuser data itself is deleted after a certain period of time. The last contribution for Q28 was in 2022. How can I get valid data? I can't compare with data I don't have. And since I prefer to copy/paste the username, there's little chance of typos. --Sotiale (talk) 05:07, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Have they been subject to SRCU since the above request? Probably not. If so, the data from that long ago would have already been deleted. I periodically delete data, and this is something I personally do as part of my efforts to protect personal information in your community.
