Hello. On Persian Wiktionary, there are still unremoved interwikis on different main namespace pages. Pages in the main namespace don't need interwikis added, given that mw:Extension:Cognate does a similar job and adds interwikis automatically. Adding interwikis manually on these pages can cause confusion. Thus, I want to remove all such interwikis from the Persian Wiktionary. If I'm not mistaken, there are more than 26,000 pages to edit, so it's definitely a bot task. The related discussion has been open since May 9, 2020 on Persian Wiktionary's village pump, and there has been no update. Given that it's not a big/controversial change (many wikis, including English Wiktionary, have already removed them. Other projects have also moved to Wikidata and no longer use the old method of adding interwikis on-wiki), I think it can be implemented safely. We don't have any 'crats there, and the bot policy page is just a redirect to the first archive of the main page's talk page. Thank you. Ahmad ^talk 20:03, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
