Here's a list of projects we've carried out:
- Wiki Loves Mother Tongue Campaign: In commemoration of the International Mother Language, Wikitongues celebrates this through a month long editing campaign on various language editions of Wikipedia, Wikidata, WikiCommons. Our 2024 Campaign can be found here.
- Language Revitalization Fellowship: Each year, Wikitongues gives grants, training, and in-kind volunteer support to the leaders of new mother-tongue projects. Since 2021, we've backed 40 fellows. You can read about our past and current fellowship participants here.
- Language Archive: Wikitongues safeguards videos, dictionaries, and other linguistic materials. Explore resources in over 700 languages. Discover new languages, submit a video, lexicon, resource or explore our language archive here.
- Language Revitalization Toolkits: This free resource in 3 languages can help you build a measurable plan to keep your language alive. We update the Toolkit periodically, so check back for updates. The Toolkits can be assessed here.
