| Project description | Abbreviation IntellWiki stands for Intelligent Wiki. The purpose of IntellWiki project is to create a platform for collaborative decision-making and solving problems. Making decisions and solving problems are the two most important processes of the human brain. The decision-making means to choose one among several options; the problem-solving means to create a piece of new information or knowledge. To do so, the human brain goes through several well-known steps presenting special algorithm. The problem-solving algorithm is more complex. It includes 6 basic steps, each of which has several internal levels of development. So, if these algorithms are integrated into a digital platform, following these steps people could make collaborative decisions or solve problems. This is a form of collaborative thinking. To illustrate this option I set up a website – www.intellwiki.eu where mentioned algorithms are included in the form of standard TOC. |

- Oppose Oppose Decision-making in Wikimedia is a community process. Decision algorithms and other problem-solving systems are a class of algorithms that may be part of Wikifunctions. Evaluation tools may use them or can be developed separately, but they are not enough as generally this involves complex project management (e.g. with Phabricator), versioning systems (like Git), cooperation and communication tools (blueprints, IRC, presentations, repository of documents, planningà, software life-cycle management tools, test platforms and support architecture... We have lot of tools, or dedicated sites running independantly for each working group, many of them integrated in Phabricator and Meta-Wiki for the community process and basic documentation or cross-references. verdy_p (talk) 13:41, 10 April 2021 (UTC) [reply ]
