Basque and Moroccan Darija edit-a-thon

This page describes the collaboration between Moroccan Darija Wikipedia and Basque Wikipedia. The first goal is to organize an edit-a-thon between editors of the two Wikipedias. The collaboration was suggested after Wikimedia Hackathon 2024, and Wikimania 2024.
The exact dates and details of the edit-a-thon will be announced at a later point. The earliest date will be in January 2025.

Edit-a-thon
[edit ]- Variation 1: organize a 1-hour meeting between interested editors, to launch the edit-a-thon, and then another at the conclusion.
- Variation 2: do a one-time 3 to 5-hour online edit-a-thon, with the expectation that most or all articles will be finished in one setting
- Variation 3: a combination of the above
- Variation 4: launch the edit-a-thon without a meeting
Next tasks:
- Agree on the format, the number of articles and the duration of the edit-a-thon
- Prepare the list of articles for each Wiki
