Relationship between Wikimedia and Apple.
As of December 2015, "most" of the Wikimedia Foundation staff use Apple computers with MacOS.[1]
The Wikimedia Foundation listed "Apple Inc. Matching Gifts Program" as a "leading donor" (5,000ドル-14,999ドル) in 2011-12, a "patron" (15,000ドル-49,999ドル) every year from 2012-13 until 2015-16, a "major Benefactor" (50,000ドル+) in 2016-17,[2] and again as a "major benefactor" for gifts since in 2017-18.[3] In 2018-2019, donations from Apple's Matching Gifts program totaled 207,542ドル.[4]
Over 40% of Wikimedia mobile traffic comes from users using Apple's iOS and 38% from users using Apple's Safari browser, and 11% of desktop traffic comes from users using Mac OS X and 4% from Safari, as of 2019.[5] There is a Phabricator project for issues relating to Apple Safari.
