Meta:Requests for checkuser/Tiptoety

I'd like to nominate Tiptoety (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log) for the position of CheckUser here on Meta. Tiptoety currently is an administrator and bureaucrat on metawiki. He did about 750 edits and 250 logged actions until now. Holding CheckUser permissions on both the English language Wikipedia, and on Commons does not only meaning that he is already identified with the foundation but also used to the tools, and so easily could assist current checkusers.

Tiptoety assists in cross-wiki anti-vandalism work, and has on numerous occasions sought the assistance of Meta CheckUsers. Having the ability to perform checks locally would allow him to better respond to vandalism. —DerHexer (Talk) 21:22, 9 November 2010 (UTC) [reply ]
